BEWARE! They tried to charge me for things covered by insurance. It was no mistake - bunch of scammers. There is also no way to opt out from their texts. Avoid this place.

Bayside Laser Dental, I visited once as a guest with insurance(July 31,2025), x-ray, tooth cleaning, and fluoride treatment($40 paid). The next appointment was Saturday, Aug 02, 2025(Great neck office), but I couldn't due to personal reasons, and I sent an apology message. Then, they assigned me another appointment on Wednesday, Aug o6, 2025, 04:00p.m.(Bayside office). I visited just in time. However, the Bayside Laser Dental office was locked. Mail was piled up on the doorstep of the hospital. I was so embarrassed and puzzled that I pisted an article. And I give Bayside Laser Dental a rating of one star.

I’m compelled to warn others about Bayside laser dental—they billed my insurance for treatments I never received, and now they won’t stop sending me appointment reminders, even though I’m no longer a patient for appointments I never scheduled and didn’t consent to. I’ve never felt so pestered by a business before. These texts coming almost daily. I've opted out multiple times. This behavior is absolutely unacceptable. Respect my preferences and opt-out requests! Or I will file complaints with the FCC and consider a TCPA claim.

Today is one of the best days of my life, because I've experienced the best dental care from this facility. As a young child through adulthood, I was always scared of the dentist. That fear prevents me from seeing a dentist regularly, and the fear of needle is a childhood fear. Ms. Vivian, Dental Hygienist, was knowledgeable, display empathy towards my fear, and understands my pain tolerance although I didn't experienced any pain. Dr. Lee was very gentle, soothing voice, and understanding of my fear as well. I didn't feel any needle. I didn't feel any pain. I am at awe.Wow! Ms.Maria is outstanding and welcoming. My son needed some dental work, so I called this local dentist that I found online. I asked them whether they take our insurance. The receptionist said that they did. So I made an appointment and brought him there. Once my son was in the chair, after X-rays had been taken, the receptionist and dentist informed me that I had to pay $414 upfront and just cash the check that my dental insurance would send me as a reimbursement. They told me that the check amount might even be more than what they were charging me. I doubted that, and felt like this was a bait-and-switch.
