Bayside Dental Group

I've (unfortunately) been a patron here since 2017. Bayside Dental Group has consistently been horrible. They really need to close. Very brief teeth cleanings — there have been times where I've waited 1.5 hrs for a 3 minute teeth cleaning. Dr. Halpert is not thorough. He won't mention anything going on in your mouth unless you do, but even then, there's no line of communication. He's just... there... going through the motions. Funneling you in and out. The receptionist with the multiple chains around her neck is incredibly inept and overall unprofessional. She went as far as to slam the glass window on me. She also refused to give me my referral to see my oral surgeon — I need the referral in order to receive service. I asked if she was able to email the referral to me, because it's mo

The absolute worst dentist experience of my life. I have been going to this office for the past 2 years, it’s never been great but continued going for the convenience factor. I arrived 30 minutes early for my appointment, the receptionist Tran said my insurance was expired. I responded I was here in September how was I processed then? She said it didn’t go through, and there was no follow up on their part?! I called got them the information they needed to see me and my daughter. Tran the receptionist was literally eating sunflower seeds and spitting the shells out at the desk while I was sorting out the insurance information. they moved the office and I followed them . I went for a regular cleaning today and was very satisfied. the receptionist Fran is always professional and on point. Karla did my x-ray really quick, Michelle cleaned my teeth really well! And dr. Halpert was very professional too. btw he did my bridge about 3 years ago and im happy about it. thanks guys!

Very pleasant experience and super kind staff :D Edit: came in after 6 months for another cleaning, Nina the Hygienist easily gave me the most comfortable experience with a cleaning I think I've ever had in my life, and definitely improved upon the work the previous gentleman did. 5 stars for her specifically! :D

Fran at the front desk was very rude and called me me “funny” because I didn’t agree with the price I was quoted ( $5100 for 2 implants). Charged me $150 as the consultation fee without first discussing how much the actual treatment would cost. Total scam. Should have went with my gut and cancelled this appointment. Something is weird about the office as a whole. When I asked to speak with an office manager, or the dentist- Fran became even more defensive and and aggressive. She was laughing at me, yelling at me and told me she was also the office manager and “too bad” for me. She Continued to yell at me because I didn’t agree with my treatment plan.
