I had my hysterectomy here and had a really positive experience. Dr. Divine was wonderful, she took the time to explain everything and made me feel comfortable going into surgery. I especially want to recognize Emily D in recovery. When I was waking up and during the hours after surgery, she was incredibly kind and attentive. She made sure I was comfortable, checked on me often, and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. That meant so much during a vulnerable time. I’m very grateful for the care I received and would absolutely recommend this hospital.

I don’t have enough words to express my gratitude to the staff at Baylor. From the ER surgical Team to the nurse and assistants that cared for me for the 5 days I was there, these people demonstrated compassion and excellence in my care. Each one showed care and concern for my plan of care. Dr. Petrey’s Team took all precautions and planned for my care so that I did not have to have surgery. While recuperating at home, Baylor’s nursing staff kept in contact with me, to ensure I was progressing and healing. My advice~~If you have a choice, CHOOSE BAYLOR!!

My labor experience at BUMC was exceptional. My OB-GYN is Dr. Christina Littrell and my L&D nurses (Tamara & Caroline) and Postpartum nurses (Andrea & Elisa) went above and beyond to explain every step of the process, make me comfortable, and make my recovery smooth and a pleasant experience. I felt very prepared to go home as a first time mom thanks to all the patient education and lactation consulting the entire team provided for my husband and I in both floors. Every staff member that walked into our room had an amazing sense of urgency to help and positive attitude. It’s very obvious the staff on these floors are doing work they are very passionate about. 12/10 experience and we will have any future deliveries at this facility.

As a first-time mom, I could not have asked for a better labor and delivery experience. From the moment I stepped foot into L&D to the moment I was discharged, my entire care team was absolutely amazing. Every nurse, doctor, and staff member made me feel supported, informed, safe, and truly cared for during one of the most vulnerable and life-changing moments of my life. They took the time to explain everything, answered every question with patience and kindness, and made sure both my baby and I were comfortable every step of the way. I never felt rushed or dismissed — only encouraged and empowered. Their compassion, professionalism, and genuine love for what they do truly showed. Because of this incredible team, my first birth experience was everything I could have hoped for and more. I

I had an amazing experience delivering my first child at Baylor. The nurses were amazing especially nurse Kisten & Steve . Nurse Steve was very attentive, helpful and supportive during my entire laboring experience. He made sure I was comfortable, he followed my birth plan and explained everything that was going on the entire time. The care I received was exceptional and the staff couldn’t have been better. Thank you so much for going above and beyond. The service provided at Baylor is exceptional :)!
