Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Plano

Dr. Garvey has been incredible from the beginning. From when we first met she made me feel very comfortable, she explained all possibilities before my surgery and what could possibly happen after and one of the her best characteristics is she makes sure to respond back to you with a timely manner. You will feel heard and understood if you choose to go with Dr. Garvey. I also selected Dr. Garvey because she came from the hospital I use to go to back home Kaiser Permanent. Which it made me feel some sort of connection and peace so this sealed the deal for me to chose her. Surgery went great. The nurses and doctor were 2nd to none. I was wheeled over by the Wonderful people in cardiac rehab. I can’t say enough about everybody at cardiac rehab. But this question I believe is for the emergency room. They got me in and out quickly and that is much appreciated. To say I hope not to go back is incorrect because Dallas is going to do a heart transplant on me. The people that in Dallas are equally exceptional. Thanks for everything you guys do. Bob Krause.

The nurses in the ICU were phenomenal and Dr J was very helpful and supportive. Lisa Garcia took care of me like I was her dad. So sweet, kind and caring plus a fantastic nurse!! Rachel, during the day, who served room 330 was amazing! She preserved by dignity in everything she needed to do to help me. What a blessing she was to me and my wife. Brooke was also a winner! Very kind, always wanted to be sure I was doing well. She too was a fantastic nurse! All these ladies were so smart, on top of every situation and we could truly tell they cared about me as a person. If you have to be in ICU, go to Baylor Plano, absolutely A++ Richard Edwards

The doctors and nurses informed me of every step of my procedure and assured me that I wouldn’t feel any pain. From the time that I was put under the anesthesia till the time that I awakened, it seemed like 2 minutes. I was well taken care of and felt great when the procedure was completed. The doctors and all who took care of me were knowledgeable, kind, and respectful. Everything was great!

Can't say enough great things about this hospital, I've had 2 surgeries here and both went seemingly smooth and the staff was amazing. Shout out to my nurse Gracie on the day shift, very down to earth, caring and LISTENS. If I could request a nurse, it'd be her for sure!
