Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Pflugerville (Building 1)

The lady at the front desk is one of the rudest people I have ever encountered with this hospital. I have been coming to baylor scott and white for 20 yrs. Im having a procedure done. Came to check in. She mean mugged me when I walked to the desk. There was a guy behind me and she looked around me and said we're you next. He said no I just had a question and she was first. She then just had an attitude the entire check in time. When time to go to my area for surgery. (First time at Pflugerville hospital. Normally at Round Rock) she say 2nd floor. I ask where the elevators were she threw her hand up in the air and I guess pointed somewhere. I said wait where are they. She say I pointed you to them. And threw her hand up again. If at all possible I will NEVER come back. Thanks for making an

Eye surgeries went great. Professional & courteous staff. Some delays but in expected chokepoints like Anesthesia. My third time using this hospital, all very good.

I am not one for negative comments however there was a staff member by the name of Stephanie who made me feel very violated. She discussed what happened in our office out in the main area very loud to where I could hear her while the door was closed. Therefore, I know other patients heard her. Considering this, I felt that my patient confidentiality rights were violated. To add insult to injury, when I asked for a napkin while my eyes were leaking after she was so rough with me, she stood by the computer, put her hands on the napkin box and said they were ‘ Right here’ And I could come grab them. Yes, she did this Instead of handing me a napkin from the box was clearly in her hand and next to her. What’s even more embarrassing is that I had a friend attend the appointment with me so that

I attempted to have an MRI at Touchstone but they couldn't tap a vein so I needed to reschedule. BSW was able to get me in on a Saturday and despite being a hard stick (for the contrast IV), and being in pain plus being claustrophobic, Brian in Imaging was 5/5! He was a great empathetic communicator and had such a warm and nurturing demeanor that made the whole process such a positive one! It's not easy, emotionally or physically, going through health issues, and the approach health care providers take can alleviate stress. Super appreciative of Brian's human approach to his work.

You pay to get seen but don’t get treated like a customer…more like they are doing you a favor! The lady with the blond hair in the treatment room wasn’t friendly and a little stuck up. The wait time is crazy and then you wait again in the treatment room, I understand the are busy..however communication is quick and easy. The receptionist guy however was super friendly and helpful. The female doctor (difficult last name) was knowledgeable and friendly. Mixed reviews about this place, won’t go there for something serious,
