I just delivered at BSWM and absolutely loved my experience there. The delivery nurse was amazing - she worked on me to ensure I had a smooth delivery and really took a holistic approach to my birth. She incorporated movements from Spinning babies to encourage baby to get in a more optimal position before pushing. After settling into our little room after baby was born, the nurses were all so caring. They really work to encourage Kangaroo care, and to support mothers in their immediate postpartum journey. The lactation consultants were also great - I had the opportunity to work with 2 and get tips from both for better breastfeeding. The food service was good - I couldn’t eat the amount of food that was being offered and they even sent us home with lasagna and cookies. It was just such an

An incredible experience from start to finish. Every staff member was professional, kind, and made my daughter feel safe and well-cared for during her surgery. May from Access Services was incredibly welcoming while completing my daughter's registration. Our first nurse, Sonia, brought us back to the room, went over the basics, and was very kind. Renee, our main nurse, was exceptional. She started the IV and was so personable and funny—she made sure to include both me and my mother in the conversation, which we really appreciated. Dr. Martino has amazing bedside manner. He truly listened, explained everything clearly, and gave my daughter plenty of space to ask her own questions. Had our first baby here at Baylor, and my experience was SO positive! I wasn’t sure what to expect going into it, but to say the care team of L&D nurses were beyond kind and helpful is an understatement! You can tell the staff really enjoy what they do. Big shout out to Candice and Amy, y’all were such a blessing! Baylor truly made us feel like we were at home. ♥️

I delivered my baby here at BSW McKinney and had an AMAZING L&D nurse Katie, who listened attentively to my every wish (and fear!) and did everything in her power to keep me as comfortable as possible during my delivery. She brought the energy and optimism I needed, and patiently and clearly explained everything that was going on. She was so caring and comforting - I felt very safe in her care. When we moved to the New Family Unit for recovery, we had a decent experience, but the day shift nurses seemed overworked and we rarely saw them. On more than one occasion, the day nurses forgot to bring my pain meds, and never followed through with some of the things they said they would do, but generally our interactions were positive. We have been her many times, but this time we had the absolute best experience! Dr. Yousef Abdel-Raziq MD was the Emergency Department doctor and took great care of my family member and explained everything as soon as he could. Dr. Ralph L. PT was the Physical Therapist who was fun and super helpful. Ulysses "Uly", OT was amazing, helpful, and encouraging. Dr. Amit Bhardwaj MD was the Hospitalist that helped answer so many questions and give clear direction. Ayana, Patient Tech Alicia & Christine, RNs EVERYONE has been outstanding and I cannot thank them enough for being here for our family.
