Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation - Dallas

Baylor Scott and white was a great choice for inpatient rehab after our son had a traumatic brain injury. The staff was welcoming , the nurses were caring, the doctors were always there to make changes when needed. The therapists were wonderful! We are very pleased with Baylor Scott and white and would recommend anyone to come check out their services. They helped our son in 3 short weeks learn to eat, talk, and walk. We are forever grateful!

I had total knee replacement surgery and was transferred to BAYLOR INSTITUTE FOR REHABILITATION from 10/2025-11/2025. I didn’t know how I could get through this ordeal but the Physical & Occupational Therapists got me motivated from the start. The nurses and allied health staff is excellent! Pain and restroom help are huge issues. They’re there when you call. I was made as comfortable as possible. The food is great. Nothing like hospital food you might think of. The doctors are compassionate and relay orders to make sure you’re lacking nothing in standard of care. Dr. Desai really got me meds needed for comfort. Be prepared to do the work and you will get better. Best hospital to trust your well being with. Deepest gratitude.

The rehab experience for my husband has been life changing. He underwent a heart transplant at Baylor hospital on 10-13-25 & Baylor rehab was recommended to him. He has been here for over a wk & the treatment has been amazing as well as enjoying the benefits of the courteous staff. We highly recommend this facility for treatment

Awesome facility with competent and friendly staff. God has truly anointed the doctors, nurses, techs, support staff and therapists with the skills and knowledge to help one reach their goals before moving on to the next stage. The food choices were varied and met my nutritional needs. The staff is highly responsive and professional. Highly recommended.

I cannot say enough good things about Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation starting with the reception my wife received from the attendant who escorted her in from the car. See the photo. In October 2025 she suffered the third of three strokes starting in September 2024. Before going to the BIR she was more or less resigned to an almost passive and not joyful existence. In two weeks there, she regained some of her lost cognitive and physical functions, but even more important her attitude toward life changed. She smiles more and is more active than she would otherwise have been. The experience at BIR will make a significant difference in the rest of her life.
