BayCare Urgent Care (Riverview)

Don't waist your time coming here. You'll wait almost 3 hours. Even if you do the online check in the save your spot in line. Then the Dr will see for not even a minute and tell you that you some type of virus and everything is fine. Not even run any test to see if its covid or some type of flu. Even though you tell him you've have had a persistent cough and congestion for a month now. And im to believe its all fine. Okay doc thanks for dismissing me and being a total waist of time.

I went in for a broken nail/nail bed due to breaking a fake nail. The “APRN” Katie Moran was extremely rude and immediately coming in with the question “so what would you like me to do” without even examining first.. Then she proceeded to “examine” me (she did not even pick up my finger or touch it she looked at the top of it) and came to the conclusion that my “nail bed was still intact” it was NOT intact whatsoever and you could clearly see the blood that was all around It. And she tried to explain to me that she has no resources to do anything. She talked down to me like a child because I had no guardian present even though I am a young adult and was speaking to me in a very sarcastic childish manner/tone of voice. She left the room within 5 mins and said she was going to discharge me

We took our young daughter into this urgent care because she was throwing up and running a low grade fever. We were traveling and this was the closest option. We spent a total of 34 minutes from the time we checked in until we left. The caregiver provided no care and suggested we go to the emergency room. Again, our daughter’s symptoms were relatively mild, we were more concerned with her becoming dehydrated than anything. The doctor mistook her fear (again she’s young) for pain. I’m not so frustrated with the caregivers diagnosis since we just called our daughter’s pediatrician after who advised us to just monitor her and see for a little bit rather than take her to the emergency room. DR. Dallas hilarious, kind, respectful and will take care of all your questions. Funny, happy to be their taking care of his patients. Also Medical assistant Ms. Kim a darling, kind and wonderful smile. They both will go above and beyond to making sure your health get back to 100%!

The front office staff was very kind and provided great service, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, my experience with the provider was frustrating. I was extremely sick during my visit and requested an antibiotic, but my request was declined. As a result, my condition worsened, I missed an entire week of work, and was in significant pain. I ended up returning to the clinic later in the week after waking up with pink eye in both eyes. At that point, antibiotics were finally prescribed. I wish the situation had been handled more proactively during my initial visit, as it would have saved a lot of discomfort and lost time.
