Five stars for the team at Bay Ridge Skin and Cancer! The office is clean, and the check-in process was seamless. I really appreciated the friendly atmosphere and the expertise of the medical staff. Truly a top-tier practice.

Just lost over an hour of my life waiting to be seen. They have no regard for appointments and people’s time. They make you wait an hour past your scheduled appointment to not even see the actual doctor and then put you in a room where they have you take your clothes off and then wait another 15-20 minutes naked in the cold. This is unacceptable. I sent my husband here as well who has had skin cancer and needed a new doctor. He was used to his former doctor’s attention and care and her meticulousness. He said he didn’t feel fully cared for by Dr Biro who he said looked at him very quickly. He also said that unlike his former dermatologists office, the doctor here will send you somewhere else to remove anything that might be troublesome that they want to have tested. Bad place wait is usually 1 hour to see doctor for 5 min or less, I've seen Jacqueline Levin and Dr biro for I think 5+ years and my skin was NEVER clear for psoriasis, always remaining patches, I've been with them for light box therapy, humira, stellara and they couldn't help me and had me waiting an hour in that waiting room to see nurse then doctor for 5 min or less visit. For me and my experience there it's a solid 1 star. The receptionist ladies were always pleasant but the overall rating still 1 star. My current doctor is much better and my skin is clearing up wonderfully in less than a year visit, no long waits and way better experience still in bay ridge too. I'm not going to reveal on here. It's considered bad to promote another doctor while I'm bad mouthing previous doctor.

I came here because of a basal cell carcinoma on my face that was diagnosed at Bay Ridge Dermatology. I found bay ridge skin and cancer because it was covered through my Medicaid while the doctors my dermatologist had recommended were not. I scheduled my mohs treatment and the receptionist was nice and it was easy to make an appointment. The procedure was long and not fun but it was painless. Over the next couple months I got monthly skin resurfacing treatments here that were quick and painless over my mohs treatment scar. Now 6 months later people don’t believe me that I ever had skin cancer on my face. My own primary doctor didn’t believe it at my physical! I got married and all my wedding photos are scar free! Have been a patient for minor issues only, but experienced great and attentive service from the front desk, nurses, and providers. I needed a clearance for military service and their response time was excellent! Will consider going for treatments eventually.
