Bay Ridge Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Center

After a bad experience at Maimonides Bone & Joint Center, I was fortunate to find Bay Ridge Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Center. Dr Owaid is very experienced, knowledgeable, and thorough. He actually listened to me and answered all my questions. Never once did I feel rushed. The physical therapist, Danny Romhen, is excellent, and also very knowledgeable. He will give you a personalized treatment plan and individual attention. He also will give you an honest assessment. He won’t tell you to come 2 or 3 times a week if one will suffice, and he will tell you when you’ve improved enough to begin maintenance at home. First Class experience and here’s why….. 1) They squeezed my son and I in late Friday afternoon, last minute with no hesitation. The receptionist was extremely friendly and efficient. 2) Dr Owaid knows his stuff and treated both my son and I thoroughly. Took the time to listen and knew exactly how to respond to our needs. He is probably the last of the Dr’s that don’t rush you out the door to take the next patient. 3)Although we rode our bikes they have free parking ! 4) Fully loaded PT department on-site which is convenient. Wish I could’ve left 10 Stars

Dr. Owaid actually listened to what I had to say, and really took his time with me. Wasn't dismissive at all and was very attentive and thorough. The physical therapist on staff was excellent and very gentle. I would recommend this office to anyone.

I had a total shoulder replacement and needed therapy for my shoulder to regain strength and flexibility and am achieving it here. I found the therapist to be highly competent and extremely helpful in restoring my shoulder function. Dr Awaid, the center's director, is very easy to talk to and ready to answer any questions and assist in my recovery in every way possible. Secretary Milicent is very professional and friendly to all the clients. I full heartedly recommend this therapy center.

This place was amazing they were so helpful and patient ,we didn’t even wait long at all to be seen. The doctor was very patient kind understanding and professional. He explained everything slowly and didn’t hesitate to repeat himself when needed. The staff was also great the lady at the front desk was sooooo sweet kind she helped us with everything he forgot or didn’t have with us, she helped us get what they needed... overall I loved our experience my mother was happy with everything they done for her I will be recommending this place to everyone I know....
