I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Saxe and her team. The care is incredibly personal, compassionate, and genuinely centered on the well-being of our pets. Their knowledge is outstanding, and they consistently go above and beyond—taking the time to explain everything, answer questions, and make sure both pets and owners feel comfortable and confident. It’s rare to find a veterinarian who treats your pets like their own, and we are so grateful for the exceptional care they provide.

The wait was approximately 20-30 minutes but over all I highly recommend! The staff is very sweet and helpful. I was able to get everything taken care of in one visit and they had immediate openings for appointments including late afternoon. The doctor was thorough and explained everything without hesitation. The prices are exceptionally reasonable. I received prompt updates to the testing my dog received with a copy of the results also emailed to me. Thank you so much to the staff and Dr Saxe for taking great care of my pup!

My 16-year-old beagle, Bowie, passed away this past Tuesday. I brought him to Bayport Animal Hospital because he had stopped eating and was very weak. After running tests, the doctors explained that his kidneys were failing and that recovery would be very unlikely. With their guidance, I made the heartbreaking decision to let him rest. The staff and doctors were incredibly compassionate, patient, and understanding. I never felt rushed or pressured, and they took the time to explain everything clearly.
