Bay Pines VA Hospital - Fisher House

A place of refuge in difficult times. Thank you for being here when I came down to visit my father in the VA hospice, having a safe place to stay nearby was a godsend.

Thank God for the VA. always go there for all my care. doctors are great, always right on time. Define the problem and and they fix it, not 10 different tests. primary doctor is fantastic. You can go online and check all your statistics or print them out, plus read all the notes, always plenty of parking. a little far to get to, but it's definitely worth the ride

What an awesome service! I personally want to thank all who make Fisher house such a gift for the families of our veterans! I flew in from NY my brother was in ICU and one of my companions called Fisher House while I was in flight to o come to Tampa and when I reached Baltimore there was a message on my phone telling me I would be able to stay but not at Fisher house because they were full but they were making reservations for me at Holiday Inn. I couldn’t believe it What a gift and I thanked God For this wonderful organization that made my visit with my brother such a blessing I will be eternally grateful!🙏🌹Sr. Rosemary Bell

I was not aware that this existed! It is beautiful and everyone very friendly. While it was difficult to reach anyone at night, and I did end up in my truck one night, it was very refreshing how well they took care of me while my husband was in the hospital. It is close to the hospital, so I felt more relaxed knowing if anything happened, I was close by. Since I was at the hospital from early morning to late at night, I didn’t use anything but the bedroom. These places are a wonderful addition for families!
