Bath Manor Special Care Centre

My wife had a recent stay, and I would like to thank Beth Bowman, and at the facility Rich, who went above and beyond in making her transfer from the hospital, to the facility flawless. And making it a point to be available to discuss any concerns or questions during her stay. The nursing staff was exceptional, and having a pulmonary staff on duty 24/7! Just wanted to give a heartfelt thank you to all the staff that cared for my wife.

The building is clean bright and welcoming. As soon as you enter you feel the warmth and inviting atmosphere. Over the last few months Bath manor has been working diligently to make some great changes. Thanks goes out to all the hardworking staff.

My uncle James Perry was a Patient from Jan 2025 to Feb 2025. There was 1 Aide who took Excellent for him & his stay there. There was absolutely Poor communication.. when we called the facility..80% of the time no one answered. Approx. 2wks ago I called the facility & was surprised 2get an answer.. also called 3times after that & another surprise.. I'm glad they have a better system. My grandma has been here only a month and has severely declined. It’s a bunch of lazy woman who don’t want to work just constantly on their phones. I watched the man come out from cleaning the rooms and the bathrooms were still disgusting. They don’t give them showers or change the bedsheets. It smells of straight urine and there are still messes in the hallway they don’t clean up. My grandma fell and busted her lip and they didn’t notify us. She woke up with swelling in her body and face and she’s a diabetic and still was never checked out by the nurse. I hope the people that work here are stuck here in the future. What goes around comes back around.

My mother was up there for approximately 4 months. There were a few staff members that seemed to care but overall and as time passed I began to realize this place was disastrous to her health. It smelled of urine.. most of the aides were just on their phones and whenever I asked a question no one knew the answer. Also no one would return calls when I would call with concerns! I tried calling the administrator several times about some grave concerns I had and got zero response. I agree with one of the other persons reviews : if you can’t advocate for yourself they let you rot in your room, no one comes! My mother got many serious bed sores one that was so bad it sent her into sepsis and the infection was to the bone !!! Please DO NOT send your loved one here!! Thank goodness we got
