Dr. Bates has been wonderful for our family. He is genuinely kind, honest, and takes the time to explain everything without ever making you feel pressured into treatment. After getting a second opinion from him, we realized that some things recommended elsewhere really weren’t necessary, which ended up saving us thousands of dollars. He is also great with kids and always makes my children feel comfortable during their visits. It’s such a relief to find a doctor you can truly trust. I’m so thankful we found Dr. Bates and highly recommend him to anyone looking for an orthodontist.

Me and my son was referred here and so glad that we were!! Everyone is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We both have braces for the first time and was nervous about the process; however, after explanation and questions answered we felt more at ease. Although Invisalign is a lifestyle change, the team made the process smooth and stress-free. They were always easy to contact when issues arised, appointments were flexible and never canceled, and visits were quick while still keeping me well informed. I officially finished my Invisalign treatment today and am thrilled with the results. Dr. Bates made adjustments throughout and final touch-ups at the end. I’m very pleased with their professionalism, knowledge, and care. Highly recommend!

I have been a life long patient of this orthodontics office. I received my braces here when I was a child and am now currently having my second child’s smile perfected. It is an impressive office, with very modern technology, a brushing station, and is always incredibly clean. The staff are so kind and have never made us feel unwelcome. In today’s world, where customer/client service feels forgotten, Dr. Bates knows everyone by name and is one of the most highly skilled orthodontists in the state of Virginia. Did I mention the complimentary water, coffee, and frozen yogurt? Centrally located, easy parking, automated text reminders…I really could go on and on! Make your appointment today.
