Basin Pediatric Dentistry

My child had a dental emergency this weekend, and I called Basin Pediatric Dentistry assuming they would be probably be closed yet hoping to at least get some help through an answering service. Instead, we were told to come in right away and received same day treatment from Dr. Ellis and his staff. This office consistently exceeds my expectations for care. We couldn’t ask for a better dentist. Dr. Ellis always makes my kids feel comfortable, thoroughly explains treatment options, and ensures the best care. Thank you for handling my child’s emergency and giving him back his beautiful smile!

While my kid would disagree, we had a phenomenal experience here. My son is autistic, non-verbal, and is petrified of doctors. To the point that for years at his other dentist, we haven't even been able to get xrays because the staff is scared of either being bitten, kicked, or also of traumatizing my son. Here's the thing: X-Rays and dental care are non-negotiable. This stuff needs to get done. I can't continue with his care just shooting in the dark and hoping something works because we can't figure out the issue. Well, the lovely staff at this office basically said "say less" and helped to get not only son's x-rays but also managed to help me pin him down so the doctor could take a look. I believe Roseanne and Irene were the ladies at the front desk, they were great. Rose was so professional even though I was definitely rushed and impatient she was great. Whole team handled my level 3 autistic kid so great I'm so excited to find a great dentist for him

If I could give more stars… we started my son off at another HIGHLY rated local dentist who squeaked a toy at him twice and dove straight in his mouth… told me that my one year old needed all his baby teeth capped… Feeling very uneasy we went to one of the most holistic dentists in Austin for a second opinion. My son still ended up having an extremely traumatic experience while getting his filling. I’m not saying it was their fault or if it was his age, but we needed to find a good dentist close to home. My sister in law recommended Basin and Dr Zach is so good with my son… he has a great energy and knows how to coach the kids in their procedure. His staff is upbeat and knows how to work with kids. Not to mention in a world of dental scams their prices are fair and affordable… I cried see

We have been patients of Dr. Ellis for a few years. He has done MANY MANY things for my son. And I am so appreciative of his staff and of their dedication to making sure my son feels safe and comfortable!! The office staff has ALWAYS been great!! My child has special needs, so at times in the past he was not an easy person to work with. We did also use a smaller office for preventative care, while transitioning my child through his harder times but any MAJOR issues we had or any thing that requires sedation, we will always trust Dr. Ellis to do, because his team is just AMAZING!! I am EXTREMELY grateful!!
