Barnes-Jewish Hospital

I had an exceptional experience at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, thanks to Nurse Faith and Ashley. They went above and beyond to ensure the patient received the best possible care. They’re professionalism, compassion, and dedication truly stood out. The environment was humble yet welcoming, and the level of service was outstanding—definitely a 5-star experience. Thank you, Nurse Faith, for your incredible support.

My mother was admitted to Barnes Jewish Hospital on Dec 2nd on the surgical floor her care there was wonderful. Nursing was great, but when they moved her to 12800 floor oncology, the care was terrible. I thought she was in good hands being i live 3 1/2 hrs away. There was absolutely no personal care at all, 3 days she laid there, no dentures taken out , sores on her gums. No hair brushed no shower. When I got there I thought I was going to have to cut her hair off she has long hair. She hadn't slept in 3 days they said she was a little out of her head , which she was getting chemo treatments and a bag of steroids as a prep each day. I ask if they was giving her anything to help her sleep? One nurse i talked to on my way up said she was prescribed sleep aids but they hadn't been given. I w

The nurse and doctors at Big Barnes were awesome. I would especially like to say that Harrison Hagan was the best nurse I have ever had. He was there to do my blood draws and found my robe again after surgery, etc. Kati Bha or Bhu was also very good. The GI Team was excellent as well.

Hospital is absolutely filthy. I see cleaning staff standing around with their trash bins, watching their telephones doing nothing. The floors are disgusting the corners and along the baseboards are nothing but filth. The staff is very nice and courteous. Maybe management needs to come and take a look at the rooms and watch the staff. Nothing like paying tons of money for filth.

We want to thank the wonderful nurses and doctors on the 10 floor of the icu unit they were so helpful and open about everything going on with my wife they were caring understanding and compassionate. Was a true blessing on keeping us involved with what they thought and didnt leave us wondering. For every happy story there are sad ones as my wife couldn't overcome everything that went on but I never felt alone in what there plans were for my wife. Thank you all even on the surgical ward by the old cafeteria as well 5th floor as well top notch. I may hell would ever want to be there but I sure as hell know if I was I would want it to be there god bless you all.
