Baptist Urgent Care - Starkville

I never rate things on Google but I just felt this was necessary. A really friendly staff environment from the front desk to the exam room. I often struggle finding places that will listen to symptoms and not brush them off, give you a diagnosis with no explanation and send you home. They were all so kind and helpful, and the Doctor really took her time to explain my diagnosis and why she prescribed the medications I needed. Very pleased with this office!

I will not go back here. I came in with a cold, not sure what it was - possibly just a cold, covid, or flu, and my temperature was not taken, they just went off of me saying that when I checked once yesterday I did not have a fever, despite having chills and nausea. They did not have influenza tests, so said I don’t have the flu. Likely yes, I do not have the flu, but It all was unprofessional. My information was written down on a post it, and everything took abnormally long.

DO NOT GO TO ALLYSON HAYES AT BAPIST URGENT CARE. I came in with a sinus infection, they told me it wasn’t bacterial and to use nasal spray and mucinx. Didnt call anything in, didn’t give me a shot. I woke the next day with my snot bright green. I called and they still refused to treat me even though by then it was okay to get a shot. I had to go to state urgent care, and pay more just to get treated. I had a great experience with whoever i seen fall semester when i was sick, but don’t see hayes.

What s great experience! The NP and nurses were WONDERFUL. They ended up staying an hour past closing to give my son the most patient and loving care while getting stitches on his hand. I’m so thankful!

Came in with chest pain. Immediately shut me down after seeing that my vitals and blood pressure was okay. The staff I met did not make me feel comfortable. Went elsewhere to a place I would be listened to.
