Baptist Health Primary Care - Harrodsburg Road

I have not seen a physician at the Harrodsburg Rd location yet but I scheduled an appointment with this team because of the receptionist KIM!!! I wandered into the waiting room by accident (I was looking for the urgent Care office). Kim, even though I was not a patient there was so extraordinary that I knew I wanted to learn more about their physician team as I recently moved to Lexington from and am needing to find a new primary care physician. It was because of KIM that I asked for a list of physicians in the office who are still receiving new patients to research. After I finished with my Irgent Care visit in the office next door, I went back to Kim’s window and scheduled a visit with my new doctor. The culture in this facility, Primary & Urgent Care, is remarkable.

I was a previous patient with Baptist health for a couple years while living in Lexington. Prior to my recent experience, the biggest issue I had was every time I started care with a new provider they would end up leaving the practice and then I would have to re-establish all over again. I recently moved from Lexington to West Virginia, I got a refill of my medication before leaving at my pharmacy in Lexington and then I still had one refill remaining. I called Baptist health and asked them to send in the refill to my new pharmacy since I have moved. The first day I called I was told they would reach out to the clinical staff about getting it refilled and someone would call me back. The next day comes and I have heard nothing and the pharmacy does not have my prescription so I call Baptist

Love this location. I greatly appreciate Ashlee and Dr. Hizon. Easy to schedule an appointment and the staff is very caring. The phlebotomy lab is always great, by getting my vein on the first try.

Best doctors ever! They are so patient and kind and take everything into consideration. I personally see Melissa Brown, APRN and she is the greatest. She actually listens to my concerns and tries to help in any way she can. I was fed up with UK and she referred me to someone within Baptist for the specialty I was being seen for and they are just as good. They actually care about you which is exactly what i was looking for. You couldn’t go to anyone better!

My mom's been going here for 6 months or so. We love it, although she won't admit it with her white coat syndrome. Sad to see bad reviews on here. We've never had a problem with the location or her doctor.
