Baptist Emergency Center/Wolfson Children hospital

I came at a good time. I was scared to come because of the reviews I saw. My wait time was great I had fallen and I am a diabetic had cuts under my toes. They took real good care of me. Answering all of my concerns and questions. They let me know everything that they were checking and testing for.

No good service in taking care of my daughter. Came here on Sept 12 at 5pm because my daughter had stomachache and bleeding. Doctor gave her some medication and send here home, without have no idea what my daughter has. My daughter still in pain, and now we have to take her to another emergency room to see if they can help with my daughter's pain and bleeding. Doesn't matter how far I have to travel, to take care of my daughter health. But I definitely not taking my daughter to this sorry as hospital. No I don't recommend this emergency room to nobody. It's a waist of time and they are risking your health more then you came in for the first place.

My cat scratched me in the face over my lip last Thursday morning. When I saw it, I knew I needed stitches and went to the ER here. This where I met Dr. Okoli and the nurse, Zanny. They took such good care of me. Both of them were outstanding, very caring and I felt safe in their care.

I understand this is an emergency room but it seems that unless you have a dire injury you are not important to the staff in this hospital. The emergency room appears empty and my husband and I have been waiting over an hour to simply have blood work done. The staff doesn’t seem concerned and the fact that we’re charged hundreds of dollars to feel unimportant is very disappointing. Baptist has never been a very good medical system.

Use to be a great hospital however they have turned into just like the rest they don't care about patients who truly have a er and need to be seen. You have a lady in here for ER getting a letter saying blood work was abnormal and check in for that. I have a severe back injury and a man who is just sick gets to just skip me when I had already been here way before him. They no longer take care of the patients in order of severity of treatment required. I left cause it's obvious they have no intention on getting me cycled in there to see Dr.
