Bantam Lake Animal Hospital

I needed to take a dear friend of mine's dog to be put down yesterday. It was a very difficult thing for me to do, and I have never done that before. I didn't know what to expect or how it was going to go. All I can say is that the Vet and vet tech were incredible!! When we walked into the room there was a candle lit, a beautiful blanket laid on the table. They explained every detail of what was going to happen. They brought me a box of tissues and set it on the table next to me as I sat on the stool holding Jeter in my arms wrapped up in his favorite blanket. They were very compassionate, they were very calm and respectful. They even asked me if I wanted some water or needed anything. It was an extremely sad situation, I cried a lot! Being involved in rescue, I’ve seen multiple vets for different needs over the past 6-7 years. Switched to Bantam Lake a few years ago due to a negative experience with my shy dog at a different veterinary office and I couldn’t be happier that I did!
