Banner Rehabilitation Hospital West

Banner West is a top notch rehabilitation facility! After spending a week at Mayo Clinic to recover from a major hip reconstruction surgery, I was lucky to be transferred to Banner West Rehab Facility to continue my recovery prior to going home. The wound care nurse initially took photos of my incisions and monitored throughout my stay. A special thanks to every nurse and nurse assistant that took care of me (Genalyn, Alonso, Katie, Isaac, Joy, Trina, Kimmy, etc) were so caring and patient. The dietitian was very knowledgeable and ensured that I got the proper nutrition along with Rochelle from the cafeteria/kitchen, who came to my room everyday to take my food order for the following day. EVERY meal and dessert I had was phenomenal!!! I also can't say enough about the amazing physical

My husband was a patient here to recover for 3 different surgeries. We were impressed by: quality of care, physical therapy regimen, food, kindness of caregivers and cleanliness of facility.

This is THE BEST! So clean and quiet. ALL staff, from receptionist to doctors, therapists, housekeeping, dining services, case management-EVERYONE were professional, caring, cheerful and happy to be at work. What a fabulous experience for my husband (broken hip on vacation from Minnesota) and myself. Having experience in the health care field myself, I truly ❤️ endorse anyone looking for rehab to come here. Amazing!

"The nursing staff and CNAs were excellent. They were very attentive and you didn't have to wait a long period of time to receive assistance. The food was really good, you got to choose from a lot of entrees. Physical therapy was very intense but very good to help you recover and go home. Unfortunately this was the second visit for my mother to this facility, she was here in August-September after a stroke and more recently in November after a fall and a return of some of her stroke deficits. Fortunately this facility is outstanding and made a difficult situation a little bit better. It all started with the facility liaison, Jan. While in the hospital before Banner West, we saw more of her and received more updates than the hospital's own case manager. She was great support navigating the hospital discharge and admission processes. My mother was discharged to nursing facility while waiting on insurance decision. Jan kept us informed every step of the way, even notifying us of insurance's decision before they even did. Thank you Jan. The nursing staff was still outstanding
