Banner Rehabilitation Hospital East

I recently fell and broke my hip and was brought to Banner Hospital Rehabilitation for therapy. When I arrived I had been in my hospital bed 5 days and unable to get up to use the rest room. The care I received was incredible. From physical therapist, nurses, aids, doctors, even the young man who cleaned my room, seriously, everyone I came in contact with made me feel they were on my team. There to assist in every capacity. Their support and compassion, I believe, was instrumental in my ability to gain the strength to get back on my feet, walk again and return to the independent person I am, in a relatively short amount of time. My wife just spent 2 weeks at Banner East Rehab recovering from a partial foot amputation. The facility is great from nursing to therapy. I was especially impressed by Brandy who took care of my wife’s wound while she was there… very kind, caring and compassionate. If the need ever arises again for rehab for either my wife or myself this will be the place we go!

This place is amazing. The therapy sessions are tough, but they are for a reason. They work you hard, but you improve very fast because of so. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs any physical rehab needs. The staff is amazing and so is the entire facility. Dr. Massey is also an amazing Doctor and truly cares about the patients improving every day.

The CEO and Medical Director are very engaged in every aspect of intervention and process…not to micro-manage, but to assure comprehensive care and personal, attentive, and competent care. Was beyond pleased with my stay at Banner Rehabilitation Hospital East. After breaking a femur and having surgery, several hospital staff recommended this facility. The intensive therapy helped more than I had anticipated. Each and every individual I worked with, or even spoke to, was professional, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. Was home and independent before end of second week - couldn’t be happier. Would wholeheartedly recommend this facility to anyone needing intensive therapy.
