We have been bringing our new puppy Finn here for almost 3 months now and we could not be happier! Poor Finn was sick with worms and Giardia when we got him, and the team at Banister immediately brought us in and answered all of my questions regarding his medication needed and next steps. Everyone has been very kind, responsive and knowledgeable since the first time I called. As a first time dog owner, they gave me the reassurance I needed regarding Finn’s health and future care and welcomed any questions. Thank you Dr Banister and team!

My dog was misdiagnosed and charged for medication he didn’t even need. Next visit I called attention to a growth on my dog that vet didn’t think was concerning. I insisted I wanted a biopsy and it came back as a cancer. Only positive thing I can say about this practice is that vet techs are very good.

Gordon had his neuter done at Banister Animal Hospital with Dr Todd Banister, and while the surgery itself went smoothly, the post-surgery experience was very disappointing. His procedure was on 11/20/25, and the first couple of days he seemed okay, likely because he was still feeling the effects of the medications from surgery. Once the weekend hit, he refused to move with the cone on and stopped eating and drinking. We switched to a body suit we had previously used for our last dog Talia who had major surgery done there, hoping it would help because it worked very well for her and we saw great results. Unfortunately, Gordon became extremely hyper, the medications weren’t effective, and his sutures ended up coming out. We left a message for the vet on Monday evening (11/24/25) and didn’t

My cat needed immediate care and my primary vet wasn’t available. I called and was able to drop her off for the day. Banister took great care of her, worked diligently to figure out what’s wrong, and were great at explaining the process for what she needs. She’s already feeling better- thank you!
