Back Mountain Veterinary Hospital

I was accepted as anew patient with my 10 year old Goldadore. Her previous vet refused to see her because she was healthy for past 3 years. Great care. Tests and meds given to treat my sick puppy. All staff love animals and it shows. The price was another wonderful experience. A little over $200 for all the care received. I was truly amazed!! What a wonderful Vet and staff. True hidden gem in NEPA. So thankful and greatful for the whole experience. Best veterinary clinic ever!! Thank you!! Keith and Daisy dog

The folks at Back Mountain Vet Hospital have been caring for my dog since she was 8 weeks old. She is 8.5 years old now, trim, athletic, no major health issues. They did her spay surgery, and she recovered without incident or infection. I trust them with her eye allergy. I hope my dog and I will do her whole life at this Hospital. The doctors are thorough, explain carefully, and listen to concerns, even financial ones. And the staff treat my Hogan like gold.

I haven't had very positive experiences at the vet until switching to the Back Mountain Vet. The staff was kind and caring towards both of my girl cats and myself. The costs were very reasonable for a wellness visit, vaccines, and medication for asthma. They did not rush and answered all my questions without being dismissive. I will be switching my dog and other two cats here in the future. Thank you for being the first positive experience I have had in nearly a decade.

HORRIBLE! Do not take your animals here! Ashley (vet tech) doesn’t have a compassionate bone in her body. We were picking up the remains of our cat and she offered no sympathies and gave us the wrong animal. And she still works there! Gail, the office manager, is insincere as well. Don’t give your money to this place! One star is too good.

"DR. SAUNDERS! DR. SAUNDERS!" I had my previous fur babe with Dr. Bennett, and then my current fur babe with her as well. Once she left Back Mountain, unfortunately, it seemed like we were with a different vet or tech almost every time. Our girl never got comfortable and was basically terrified out of her mind on every visit. That was... Until... She met Dr. Saunders this week. His presence kept her calm. We felt his compassion ... and she did too. In addition to a dog that left the vet's office happier than we have ever seen, Dr. Saunders gave us the best heath news we have ever received there. And we just really wanted to say, "thank you!" What you did is so very, very appreciated. Thanks for an amazing experience!
