I had been dealing with a lot of back pain and discomfort, and my session with Sharon Genwright at Back In Balance made an incredible difference. She was extremely professional, attentive, and thoughtful about the amount of pressure she used throughout the massage. I felt completely cared for the entire time. Not only is she technically excellent, but she also has a calm, confident presence that made me feel comfortable and at ease right away. I left feeling so much better—truly night and day compared to when I walked in. Highly recommend Sharon and Back In Balance to anyone needing real relief and a great experience.

I waited a while to write this review because I felt bad about my negative experience. But after receiving an amazing massage on vacation, I decided it's worth sharing. I booked a 90 min ashiatsu massage. I require truly deep tissue work and have received wonderful ashiatsu massages elsewhere that truly helped me. I told the therapist I needed the main focus to be my lower back and glutes as I have a lot pain there due to my job. The masseuse was pleasant and initially made me feel like she understood my needs. Unfortunately, she didn't. 90 whole minutes and my lower back was barely touched. I'd say she spent maybe 5 minutes on it. She also talked a lot and asked questions during the session which made it difficult for me to fully relax and focus on my breathing. $130 was spent for noth
