Customer Reviews
I was visiting with a client. It smells like urine once you are on second floor. My client complained of being in pain and asked me to get her assistance as I was leaving. I walked two hallways before I saw someone's. When I explained what I need I was referred back to the clients hallway twice with her insisting that someone was there. I kept saying no. She finally walked to the end of thr corridor, notice nobody in sight and made a phone call.
Came in to visit and the were having so much fun outside I guess it was like a carnival day but it surelookedfun and bar b que smelled great. The front desk guy was nice and it was so welcoming seeing the residents and staff have fun.
Well I walked in and Rita had food on her and bed. Her mouth had food on it. Her breath stunk bad.Her teeth have been bushed in a while. Her full water cup was clear across the room from her. I asked her if she wanted water she knotted yes. I gave her water and she drank 4oz down. I sat it down for a while then asked her again when she started hollering if she wanted water and she said yes and she drunk another 3 1/2 oz. I think she is dehydrated. No one is making or helping her drink water.I was there hour and a half. I fixed her hair ,which had not been brushed or braided since I did it a week ago! 🤨 she hasn't been given a shower since I was there last! Her skin is dried and scaling off. Plus it a peers she isn't getting pt or ot during the week. She can live without water or being hydr
I wish you would encourage your residents to bathe more frequently. My once dapper friend was filthy and smelly. Also, your attendants should knock or give some indication of entry before barging into a person's room to give them a modicum of privacy, st least. Why are there designated smoking times when residents must go outside to smoke? There are so few smokers anymore that it can't be too hard to keep an eye on them. On the plus side, the facility looked clean and had no bad institutional odor. There were plenty of attendants and the man at the front desk was friendly and helpful, unlike some of the attendants.
The staff is helpful and friendly. The receptionist Bill Lindsey is particularly instrumental in helping family members. He knows the patients well and keeps family informed of any needs. He is the main connection to reach the right people to help with any issues and is always friendly, patient, kind and respectful.
