I was here for rehabilitation from surgeries and the staff here and in the therapy department were top notch h they made sure I was well taken care of care of and looked after while I was there the entire staff from the office all the way to the cooks very friendly and caring for everyone. If I ever have to go to one for any reason I. The future it will be be this one hands down o really appreciate the care from the entire staff here

Summit Care in San Augustine is an amazing facility! They have a full time respiratory therapist for trach and vented residents and the staff is very knowledgeable! They are attentive to their long-term and skilled patients needs to make sure that they have the best experience possible. If you are looking for a facility for you or a loved one, go and take a tour of the facility, talk to some of the staff, have conversations with the residents that are there!

I was very hesitant due to very bad past experiences with a nursing home but summit has exceeded my expectations. They have been amazing in every way. My mother has been well taken care for and everyone has been extremely nice and compassionate!

OK, let me just say i I don’t make a first good impression Myself! my first impression of this place wasn’t good but now that I’m come and spent all day here these people are fantastic. Jennifer and the 2 Melissas e worked theirbutt off and put up with a lot of stuff that i couldn’t handle . I believe. , it’s a friendly, clean closely knit style, Community oriented center. my aunt his everything she needs plus some! My aunt she forgets what she’s taking and what she had and she has an anxiety attack so as well, but everything seems OK and the ladies talk to me and help me out assure me that everything will be fine and has been fine now this place is great for being in ysuch a small town. It’s really really really cool if I have to go To a skilled nirse cenrter i would gladly come! e!

Summit epitomizes what nursing care should be. I placed my friend in their care three months ago after stays in other nursing facilities in the East Texas area. Let me assure you this place is the best. He is clean (they cut his hair, dress him, and keep him shaved). He loves the home-cooked meals they serve three times daily, and he raves about the home-made ice cream, along with the many social activities. His medications are given on time, and they even provide transportation to dialysis which is local. Because of their care, he is in better health than he has been in almost two years. Carrie, Director, and Sandy, Business Manager, are always pleasant and take time to visit with you, updating you on the patient's status. Sending him here has been God's blessing. I am so ha
