Avir at Pilot Point

My brother has been at Avir at Pilot Point for several years. The staff has always been courteous and helpful. It appears that the new company is taking an interest in making the residents experience better and I am hopeful they will succeed. Always a good experience.

Pilot Point is a smaller facility but the people are amazing! They care for your loved one as if they were their own. Kimmy was with my Mother when she passed and was amazing. My Mother lived her so I couldn't choose a better person to be with her when she passed over. Everyone is very attentive to the residents, visitors and anyone else that comes to the facility. Very prompt and very caring.

It was ok. Some of the nurses are very loving and care about the residents. Some should not be working in any capacity with people. The Director of Nurses is very empathetic and cares about the residents and I am thankful for her. Staff should be required to attend sensitivity training and dementia 101 training. PT and OT staff were excellent and loving toward the residents. Family should visit daily at different times, if possible, to keep an eye on things. Some of the nurses do not like questions from family members, which is messed up, uncaring and unprofessional. Phillip and Kimmy are excellent nurses; Nick-not so much. Keep an eye on your family member’s belongings because they may disappear. It’s sad that a family member’s grief watching someone they love deteriorate is compoun

The Administrator, Tricia is very knowledgeable and Compassionate with the Residents and families . The DON, Nikki was very warm and attentive to my mother. The nursing staff did a very good job with her very attentive and comforting when she was having a hard night. Specifically, thank you to her nurse Nancy that would sit at her bedside and scratch her back. It was always the small things that meant the most to my mother and myself. Mother also enjoyed getting her hair done by their Beautician and the food they served. And to top it off she Adored her roommate .❤️❤️❤️❤️ This place is more than just a 5 in my opinion!

My grandmother is very happy here. She says all the nurses are so nice and helpful and she even says the food is great! I can't speak on the food but all the staff I have encountered have been great! Thank you for taking such great care of my grandmother❤️
