Avir at Cowhorn Creek

We have had zero issues here. No problems with the quality of care and responsiveness of staff. Very pleased with the quality of care that has been provided so far. Our loved one is always neat and clean, even when we pop in for a surprise visit. Nobody wants to have to be in a nursing facility, but this is one of the better ones.

My mother was in this beautiful well kept place. Before my mom was admitted we checked other facilities and they stunk bad and residence were left alone soiled. Waterton never smelled and the residence were not left alone. If you had a concern they were happy to resolve it quickly. My mom was about to pass away I was an hour and 20 min. Away they stayed in the room with her so she was not alone till I got there. They are the most caring staff I have ever had for her. This is a well kept facility with loving staff. M. Tipton

The care that is provided is Exceptional!! From the time you walk in the facility is clean and smells good. Residents look well taken care of. The staff are friendly and professional. The DON and Administrator have a heart of gold. I am in this facility at least once per week and the care is consistent, professional and they take pride in their facility. If I were to ever have to go to a facility make sure I make it to the Waterton

Very poorly run. One CNA was very disrespectful and rude to residents and all they did was “take care of it” yet she was still there and continued with the same disrespect. Roaches in one resident’s room which came out at night which they ‘claimed’ was taken care of yet were still there. They say they have activities for residents but they are very poorly run because of lack of resources allocated. Please do not take your loved ones here!!!

My elderly aunt has been at Waterton Plaza since 12-31-2020. She has received excellent nursing & rehab care during this stay. It has become increasingly apparent that her stay must become an extended stay. We are routinely involved in phone calls about her health & medical conditions. The staff is caring & very conscientious about their on-going efforts to monitor our aunt's care & condition. Our family has every confidence that she is receiving the very best care possible.
