Johnie has been working with our daughter, Mabel, since she was just 5 weeks old, and we couldn’t be more grateful for her. She is an incredible occupational therapist who brings so much care, knowledge, and compassion to every session. Mabel does hippotherapy with her, and we’ve seen huge improvements in her strength, coordination, and confidence. But more than that, Johnie really gets Mabel’s personality and quirks, and knows how to work through her struggles. She also has such a deep knowledge of all areas of therapy—not just OT—and always finds creative, personalized ways to support Mabel’s development. Johni is an invaluable resource, and we feel so lucky to have her on Mabel’s team.

Johni, at Avery's Tree House, is very knowledgeable. My son, Andrew, has been going there for OT services for 3 years now and we really like the variety of therapies that she offers. She offers some of those therapies that are very hard to find in this area, such as Hippotherapy and Aqua therapy. Johni gets to know your child, develops goals, and personalizes those services to the needs of the child (and to the needs of your family). She explains what she (and your child) is doing, how it helps work towards the goal, and gives ideas for you to work on at home.

Johni is such a knowledgeable occupational therapist. She really listened to my concerns and came up with a plan that would fit our family. She is very observant and could pinpoint many things I did not notice about my child who needed services. She worked hard to educate me as the parent in the terminology and science behind the needs of my child as well as helping me to adjust some of my parenting techniques to better help my child. I learned a lot and I am applying the things we learned at home. My child enjoyed the activities she did with Johni and really didn’t know they were strategic for her development. Johni kept things fun, changing and interesting for my child for every appointment. I would recommend her for anyone having any difficulty with their child. She has been a real life

Johnnie is a very talented and caring therapist. I recommend her with the highest recommendation. She worked with my son who has a brain injury and it was a very pleasant and rewarding experience for him.

If you need any kind of physical therapy this is the place to go she is very kind but bushes you to do your best to get where you want to be in your therepy. She will teach you things about your body you never new but should know.
