Avecina Urgent Care of Julington Creek

Excessive wait time for a cold/flu visit and the number of other patients there. Rude male nurse. I made an appointment and filled out the forms ahead of time. I was brand loyal because a different Avecina location has been great over the years when the need arises. However, I’ll never go back to this Julington Creek location. There are other urgent care options on Race Track Rd I’ll be choosing from next time. Also, see pic. The place didn’t feel clean and when I spotted this I couldn’t get out fast enough.

I had an ingrown toenail and Dr. Irina Rodriguez was absolutely amazing. She was very careful, patient, and made me feel comfortable the entire time. She took her time and explained everything, which really helped calm my nerves. I’m so happy she assisted me and I’m very grateful for her care. Highly recommend!

Called to see if the could help my daughter, made a day of online appt (30 minutes before) walked in and waited for less than 5 minutes. Nurse, Dr And front desk were kind and helpful and friendly. Breath of fresh air after a crazy day. Thank you.

Unfortunately, I had a horrible experience while seeking healthcare here. Check in went well, but when the lady called me back things took a really bad turn. Once we were in the room she asked me how much I weighed and took my blood pressure. It was the highest it had ever been. I told her I was concerned, she told me it really wasn’t that high and asked me if I was up to date on vaccines. I told her no, she then asked why, I told her that I didn’t believe I needed them. She then told me that she was fully vaccinated and never got sick. Dr. Chris then came in and checked me, prescribed medication and said she’d send someone in to clear my ears. The same woman came in and started setting up things to wash out my ears. She then told me she didn’t believe I had wax in my ears and that the

I am a retired Mayo Clinic staff member and I was very impressed with Avecina. Front desk staff was professional and courteous. I had zero wait time. I was roomed by Amber, who was also professional and courteous. I didn't have all of my medicine information with me, and Amber was able to locate the needed information before I could. The PA I saw (I forgot her name) was outstanding. Very knowledgeable and concerned. She too was able to locate needed information to prescribe just what I needed. I was out of there in no time. Very good experience.
