Avante at Ocala

Watch out for bills from this place saying you or a loved one owes them. My aunt Christine Orlandi passed away 1yr ago & has not been in their facility for over 3yrs & recently I am getting a bill saying she owes $3,200. My aunt's medical bills were paid up except the last week she was in the hospital before she passed away. If I could post a Pic of the bill I would. I was told middle of last week to disregard the bill however after speaking with someone I received another bill with no service date on it yet again $3,200.

This facility needs to be shut down and/or under investigation for the welfare and well-being of the patients. From the D.O.N. to the Staff, there's a lack of leadership, accountability and responsibility. The misconduct, attitudes, and disrespect towards one another shows in their efforts to properly care for the patients. NO ONE, ABSOLUTELY NO ONE, should have to work, better yet reside in such an environment. STATE need to step in, AUTHORITIES need to be notified, and Media and FAMILY MEMBERS need to be made aware of the circumstances.

Avante at Ocala is truly outstanding. The staff is compassionate, attentive, and professional. My family member received excellent care, and the communication was always clear and supportive. Highly recommend this facility! The young ladies in admissions Beanca and Nik we wonderful.

Run , don't walk from this facility! They attempted to check me into this place for rehab. The entire facility smelled of urine and feces ! My visit was extremely short. I feel bad for anyone that has to stay at avante at ocala. The room they attempted to assign to me looked like it was furnished in 1975 smelled bad and had a questionable mess on the floor at its entrance. They actually tried to bribe me to stay there with a hamburger. Look elsewhere!!!
