Your job is to provide. You need to start offering gluten-free foods. My dad is gluten intolerant to where he gets itchy blotches on his face... some people are gluten-intolerant and Celiac, so you need to start providing gluten-free bread options! For Celiacs that's choosing between life or death to eat wheat. My dad is a health-conscious person. My veteran son was receiving rehabilitation at Avamere Sunnyside after several hospital stays. He has many dietary restrictions due to his MS. The kitchen staff truly did their best to meet his dietary needs. When his regular insurance coverage ran out, Deanna Thompson of social services worked tirelessly to find a long term care facility that would accept VA benefits. He ended up going to Portland, but we were so thankful she found him a new care facility that would be covered by the Veterans Administration benefits. If i could give this Horrible place a 0 I would. I am disappointed at the disgusting conditions the place is in. First of all the employees there are rude & unhelpful. A resident had to help me find the room I was looking for because the front desk just looks at you & walks away. On another day the cleaning lady told my uncle that the front desk lady said she didn't want to help him so she was hiding in the back, so the cleaning lady helped my uncle find the room. They don't check on the patients as much as they should. The day we arrived we got there at 12pm they changed his diaper 2 times that whole day. They didn't feed him all day until 9pm because I asked them when they were going to feed him. We could hear the caregivers yelling at other residents in other rooms. On another occasion

Have only had Mom there for a week, but it seems ok. She's only there temporarily. Staff seems professional, courteous, cheerful. Nice to see they are taking Covid-19 procedures seriously. I've gotten two proactive calls from staff leads keeping me up to date, which is appreciated.
