I’m had two types of dentists in the past: 1. Transactional dentists who want to push you to do things that will make them more money. They care about money more than they do their patients. You can’t trust their opinion, because their opinion is “do what makes us more money”. But because they make more money, they have nicer newer stuff. 2. The old school dentist who cares about you, your family, your life and makes you feel welcome. Your parents went there, so you go there, so your kids will go there. That doesn’t make them the best at their practice, they don't have the nicest equipment, they like to do things the “old school” way (which means not staying up to date). I've been going to Avalon Dental for 5+ years and I've been satisfied with the care and service I have received. The admin staff and hygienist are friendly and helpful. With the dentists, I do not feel pressured to say yes to everything they recommend — they answer all of my questions and give me realistic responses about timelines, cost, and different outcomes. The office is very helpful when it comes to communicating with insurance on my behalf.

I have had nothing but positive experiences here! Each member of the team is beyond kind, helpful, and informed. I trust the team to take care of my needs, provide information transparently, and do a great job with whatever I need done!!! The reception service was exceptionally welcoming and professional, which made my visit enjoyable from the start. The dental cleaning I received was fabulous; the attention to detail and care provided by the staff was outstanding. I go to this office for the last 15 years.
