Autumn Lake Healthcare at Waugh Chapel

My aunt was admitted today for rehabilitation after hip surgery. The place was beautiful and all of the staff were pleasant and attentive.

visiting my father for a few days. Everyone has been very helpful and he remarked to me that everyone has been very nice to him. This is very much appreciated by me, my dad, and our family. I know this is not always an easy job to do, so I really appreciate the time energy patient and effort by the staff members.

Today was my first time visiting the Autumn Lake Healthcare at Waugh Chapel. First thing I noticed was the pleasant and vibrant atmosphere, and beautiful Christmas decorations. The front desk staff were very helpful abs polite. The patients I visited came to the lobby to meet me, and staff offered for us to sit at the reception seating area. Great experienced overall!

When my family members came to tour WC to see if WC was an appropriate setting for my dad, they were impressed with its modern and clean appearance, a state of the art gym, along with the kind staff they met on their tour. However, much to our dismay, my dad found out pretty quickly that the medical care staff is stretched incredibly thin, which negatively impacted his physical and mental well being. Not only were his incision wounds never treated (which was discovered at the hospital by a very concerned doctor), but he never once set foot in the gym. One of their nurses actually informed him the ratio of patients to nurses was 14:1. This is In a subacute rehab facility where people are recovering from major surgeries and health crises. Went to visit a Family Friend. First time ever being there. The Receptionist at the front desk was Awesome and very Friendly. The place was also very clean. Spoke to workers as I walked threw the halls each one spoke and smiled. A very Pleasant place to visit love ones....
