Dr. Nitchel Bastien and her team genuinely care about the patient experience and make sure you feel heard and listened to. As a medical professional myself, it was immediately clear they stand apart from other clinics. They sat down with me for a true consultation, asking about my goals, dental hygiene, and overall concerns. No other dentist has ever taken that kind of time with me. I recently moved to the area so I picked this place based on the proximity to my home and being an in network provider for my insurance. I’ve moved around the country a lot over the last 15 years so finding a new provider is always burdensome; though, I’ve never had a bad experience. I’ve always walked away from dental appointments satisfied with the quality of care. The Haven is on another level. I simply came in for a routine cleaning (this was my first visit). Exceptional dentist office! I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at The Haven Family & Cosmetic Dentistry. From the moment you walk in, it truly feels like you’re at a spa and not the dentists office. It was so pleasant! I was initially nervous to know the intake session would be about 90 minutes, but I made the time for it and have 0 regrets. Both my husband and I had appointments on the same day and Dr. Bastien spent her time talking to us individually about our dental and overall health and was so patient to explain anything we had questions about. She was extremely knowledgeable, patient, kind, and thorough! I would definitely recommend this practice to any and everyone! There’s even a tv on the ceiling in the exam room to utilize if there’s a wait or if you have younger ones!

1000/10 experience. Coming from another practice where I felt like a number this was a completely different experience. Dr. Bastien and her team are an absolute DELIGHT. They listened to me and concerns I had and validated exactly what I knew was off. They took such great care. The most in depth oral exam I’ve ever had then thoroughly explained everything they saw as well. In addition to 10/10 customer service the office space is clean and has a relaxing ambiance. I will be telling all my friends and family to come here. Very glad I found this practice.

I had one of the best dental experiences of my entire life at **The Haven Dentistry in Gambrills/Crofton** I worked in dentistry for 10 years and this was the best cleaning I’ve ever had. Her periodontal technique was so detailed that I actually stopped to ask where she trained. She graduated from a Rutgers-affiliated program, and her skill shows. Even with my great oral health, she delivered a level of precision I’ve never experienced. My teeth and gums looked amazing for days after. Highly recommend — she’s tucked behind the business area near Dick’s and Wegmans. Thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet, the tv, decor, the attention to detail and the tea. They only take PPO dental and cash patients, but I saw a sign upfront for payment arrangements for the year so you can get dental car
