Autumn Lake Healthcare at Salem County

My brother in law was welcomed warmly. Everyone is so nice there. The atmosphere was lively and the residence looked well cared for. There were staff every where. Shout out to Shelly, his nurse, for making him feel so welcome! Dawn, the Director, is awesome too. She’s very responsive and involved. We are very pleased with Autim Lake in Salem, NJ.

Our family's experience with sub-acute rehab was both new and enlightening. We made the decision to transfer our mother from a well-regarded facility in Mt. Laurel to Autumn Lake Mannington, and thanks to Dawn's support, the transition went smoothly. It became evident that our mother had been receiving minimal therapy and care at her previous location, as we witnessed remarkable progress during her 2.5 months at Autumn Lake. The therapy staff consistently encouraged her, and we are especially grateful to Ms. Shelley, whose heartfelt dedication made a significant difference. I just want to say that Autumn Lake is the best place to go.The staff are so caring and amazing. I was on A hall and my nurse Monique was the best. She was always so happy and smiling and made that hall a joy. I became friends with alot of the staff expectedly Brenda from housekeeping. She was amazing when she cleaned her rooms. I loved when she did my room.and then there is Emily always making sure our laundry was clean and returned as quick as possible. Cant forget katie. What an amazing employee always doing her job and doing it well.The PT was amazing Mike and Sherry knew what I needed and I got my strength back. I went to see my brother today and was amazed at how well he was being taken care of. His nurse Dawn was very attentive to him and showed kindness to not only him but every other patient she saw. Although I know this is the end for my brother and my heart is breaking, I’m happy to know he’s being treated so well.

First I want to say this review has nothing to do with the staff at this facility, they get a 5 star. Now for the review, I cannot believe the corporation of this large healthcare facility, they either don't care or are clueless, because the building is set on a beautiful property, next to a church, there's a gazebo for the residents, but as soon as you walk in, it's instant feeling of depression, the paint is disgusting, the rooms have 4 people in them with very old beds, horrible depressing paint, it is just worse than a Motel 6, I feel so sorry for the awsome staff that has to come to work in these conditions, disgusting you people in corporate should be ashamed of yourselves, and I will find out who you are and go to the top, that's how ridiculous it is to me!!!
