Autumn Care of Myrtle Grove

I have been at Autumn care Myrtle grove for over 3 months. During my time here I have gotten to know the staff fairly well. The therapy staff was very knowledgeable, kind and made me feel like I wanted to work hard to get stronger. The nursing and medical staff were also knowledgeable. They were very caring, professional and treated me like family. Although I didn’t want to be in a facility, I am thankful that it was Autumn care that I selected. Thanks also to the administrative staff that always stopped by to make sure I was doing okay and to see if I needed anything. And a special thank you to Kennie the van driver for driving me to my appointments and always checking in on me.

Unfortunately my mother needed care that my sister nor I could physically handle. Luckily, we found Autumn Care and they have been a godsend for my mother. They take great care of her and accommodate her to the best of their abilities. They make sure our mother is taken care of mentally, physically, and medically. Autumn Care goes out of their way for fun activities and parties. Today, they had a very special Thanksgiving dinner for the residents and their families. The food was delicious and the all the staff kicked in to make the excitement better. Thanks!

I am here for rehab. Therapy has been great. I don't expect gourmet meals but food has been pretty good. Only problem is that dinner is too early. Staff has been responsive to requests. I would highly recommend particularly for rehab. Very clean. Everyone is very kind and really seems to care. They test for covid every 3 days.

My grandmother was here before passing away! We had issues with aides not keeping her clean and dry. The nurses seem to overworked to adequately attend to her needs and telling management was pointless. Housekeeping does not clean and disinfect properly!! I just hope sharing my experience helps someone in the future. My advice is if you can keep your family members home try your best to do so! This is not it!!

My mom wasn't treated right by no staff, especially on January 13, she was pulled on her hurt arm by a staff member when she wanted to be turned in the bed and on January 16th she was ringing her call bell and was getting completely ignored to be turned and needing pain medicine so she could sleep better without pain, I mean come on if you went to CNA school, didn't your instructor tell you to answer call bells faster and not ignore your patient and didn't they tell you have a caring heart wherever you worked?? I would not recommend no family member to send their elderly mom and dad to this facility because they don't have caring hearts for their patients, they will ignore them, treat them awful, and they do not listen what the family members have to say about their loved ones!!
