Augusta Pediatric Dentistry

My kids had an urgent need for an appointment as new patients on short notice just before we were leaving to go out of town. This office was understanding and went above and beyond to accommodate my family and make room for them on the schedule. Once we were there, the entire staff was friendly, informative and helpful and they took care of the urgent concerns. Dr. Miller is excellent and my daughters felt very comfortable with him.

Edited to respond: You are correct. My kids have not been there in over two years. That is how upset we have been about the mistreatment. If you have kids with special needs: BEWARE! They do not let parents go back with the kids. One of my kids needed a tooth extraction. I went in for a consultation for that. The lady who did the consultation talked down to me. She told me I was lucky that they even take TriCare and I should be grateful to them because they were saving me money. She also told me that I was fortunate my kids were good because they charge parents extra for kids with Autism because those kids are difficult and are harder to handle. What I had not disclosed to them that my child was Autistic. Thank goodness I hadn't told them!! I left their clinic and refused to go back. I

My disabled son Dj don't understand anything and the staff was so understanding about his health. They took there time not hurting his mouth by looking at his teeth. Dr. Miller he took his time with Dj looking in his mouth and went on head and give him a treatment plan on the procedures that he will be doing in his mouth. This the first time ever that, a doctor has given him a treatment plan. Great job! Keep up the great work taking care of child with special needed. That means a lot for a parent like me.

Throughout my childhood and much of my adulthood, visiting the dentist caused me a lot of anxiety. I have had negative experiences ranging from a split lip to misinformation and referrals that felt financially motivated rather than based on what I truly needed. Because of that, I am very protective and intentional when advocating for my toddler. I am beyond elated to have found a practice that genuinely listens, addresses concerns, educates parents, and creates space for growth especially for new parents. The care, patience, and professionalism shown here are unmatched. If you are looking for a pediatric dental practice, THIS IS THE ONE. Ten stars across the board from bedside manner to professionalism. I am so happy and confident in my decision to have my toddler as a patient here.

By far the best dentist ever!! At first, I was kind of hesitant because they take the kids to the back with out the parent there and mommy mode turned on lol but once I let go and trusted, all our dental procedures have been great. Dr. Miller is amazing with kids and explains everything. Definitely will recommend to everybody.
