Augusta Children's Dental Center

First of all, I didn't even have an appointment. They researched insurance and reached out to me within an hour to get us in same day. Everyone was patient and kind. They went above and beyond to care for my little girl and she was comfortable and happy the entire time. Also they gave me a pre-emptive estimate for our next visit with a complete insurance breakdown so we can be prepared. Amazing first dentist experience. I'm pleased we're together for the long haul. Highly recommend!

My 3 kids went there today for the first time. It was a pleasant change from their last dentist that recently closed. We had a wonderful experience and felt very welcomed there. The staff was friendly and we are so happy with our change.

I am writing this with deep disappointment. I actually did enjoy this dental office previously, but this last experience has made me decide to not continue here, and we will be finding another pediatric dentist. I took the day off work for three appointments, and both my daughter and I were exhausted. My daughter, who is normally cooperative, was having a stressful, bad day (which is unusual for her). Instead of receiving support, the staff acted as if I had done something wrong. This was completely unacceptable: 1. Staff Conduct: The unprofessional behavior of several employees was blatant. I felt like a public spectacle—all eyes were on us as multiple employees stopped their work to stare. I clearly heard laughing from the staff area. 2. Leadership Failure: The dentist themselves clearly

AVOID if using United Concordia and are mil affiliated; their website is inaccurate supposedly and the office will not correct their mistake. AVOID if you expect the office itself to be honest. They are no longer operating with integrity and honesty. AVOIDif you are a previous patient that expects a certain level of professionalism due to past experiences. The office will not tell you that their policies have changed and that they no longer are in-network for you. Dr Obebe was excellent in our past experiences, but would no longer recommend this office due to lack of transparency with their patients.

Highly recommend using them for your child's dental needs! The entire staff from the moment you walk through the door is welcoming, friendly which makes the kiddos less anxious, in my opinion. They listen to your concerns, are specific to each child's needs, patient if one is upset and scared and does a fantastic job cleaning and catching area's needing addressing. The kid's get their own goody bag and a gold token for a toy of their choice at the end. They love that part!! Give them a try. You won't regret it!
