August Healthcare at Wilmington

It is so reassuring to know that your loved one is happy and healthy. I would not recommend any other place than here. My Grandfather has been there for about a year and a half now. He is 99 year old and living his best years with people who care about him. Thank You August for being there for him

Annie in housekeeping is very nice and helpful. I give Annie 5 stars! While my Mom didn't need anything serious, I got her some juice and fresh water. No one other than Annie ever came in her room. Maybe that is the way it works, I am not sure. I gave 3 stars because I felt extremely sad for the man in 308, (I think) for 2 solid hours he asked everyone to help him get back in his bed. When I left he was still sitting in his wheelchair, in the hallway, asking for help to get back in the bed. One lady in scrubs, told him he had to wait for a CNA. He HAD BEEN WAITING FOREVER, couldn't they call a CNA to help, if they couldn't? While he appeared tall, he was very slender! The people were polite and the young man in the kitchen who provided the juice, was very kind and helpful. I give him 5 sta

My husband has been in August for over 4 weeks and the care has been exemplary. The staff from the maintenance to the aids, kitchen, PT rehab, nurses and the Administration have been kind, helpful and considerate. We always experience smiles and pleasant demeanor. “A Rating” all around. Thank you August Healthcare!

I’ve been at August for 19 months. Ever since Rose has started, she has been amazing! She listens to us, she’s been able to keep staffing. I was on the verge of quitting before she came, but things started to change. She’s an amazing administrator.

Recently stayed at August for rehab. The PT department Amy and Jessica truly made a positive difference in my healing and motivation. For nursing and care, Rhonda was excellent and made feel welcome. The backbone of the facility are the CNAs! They kept me clean, were very attentive and supportive. Upon discharge my thanks goes out to the Social Worker Josh for all of his help making sure I had everything I needed to return home safely.
