Atrium Health Urgent Care

Doctor and Nurse was okay, wait time and check in staff not good at all. Had a 6:30pm appointment got there at 6:15pm and was told at check in “you have 1 person in front of you” waited 50 minutes to be seen.

Extremely disappointing experience. Our child was seen and processed as a Medicaid patient, and no one informed us that the clinic was no longer in-network with our insurance. After the visit, we started receiving multiple bills for services we were led to believe were covered. When we attempted to resolve the situation, the clinic showed no willingness to help. The manager was dismissive and unwilling to provide clarification or solutions. We also asked for a translator to better understand the billing situation, but that support was not provided. Accepting patients under the impression that their insurance is valid and then billing them later without clear communication is unacceptable. Patients deserve transparency and basic respect when dealing with medical billing. This experience

My visit was professional and my medical problem was solved quickly and efficiently. The facility was clean and comfortable. At first the doctor prescribed a particular medication but quickly realized I had an allergy to it and ordered another. It happened so quickly that I didn't even have a chance to tell him I couldn't take the original one. I was glad he took the time to check my file.

The customer service at this Urgent Care was great. The receptionist when you first get there is very welcoming, the nurse was caring, and the physician had good bedside manner. Overall, it was a good experience. They took me back in a timely manner as well.

If you have a choice to go somewhere else please do. My mom took my daughter to this location. Appointment was at 6:40pm My daughter had a fever when the assistant took her temp and told my mom the provider would give her something for it. when later in the visit my mom said Can she have something for her Fever the provider goes “you know we close at 8, right “ what does that have to do with the question at hand she was already there at 6:40. where is the compassion. If you don’t like or enjoy your job then by all means find a new job. Not only that My mom was given results that didn’t match the results that I could see on my chart. I have never had this kind of issue with Arrium Urgent care.
