Atrium Health Urgent Care

Cynthia Bohacek, NP, and the nurse Kelly were absolutely wonderful during my urgent care visit. I was feeling very unwell, and their compassion, patience, and professionalism made all the difference. They took the time to explain my options, made sure I understood my care, and truly went above and beyond. Great customer service and excellent medical care are rare, and I’m very grateful for both. Highly recommend.

I am very disappointed with the level of patient care I received during my recent visit. Although your website states that walk-ins are always welcome, that was not the case in my situation. I arrived at 7:30 p.m. and waited in line for about 10 minutes, only to be told that I would not be seen. I explained to the front desk staff (who identified herself as Katie, though her badge listed a different name) that I was experiencing wheezing and a dry cough and was concerned due to my underlying heart condition. She stated she would share that information with the provider, Cheryl Baxter, yet I was still declined care. There is no indication online that walk-ins are not accepted after a certain time, which made this experience especially disappointing. The lack of empathy and professionalism

Though I was a walk in patient with other appointments ahead of me, they were able to fit me in and stay on schedule. They were thoughtful and thorough in their work and gave a clear diagnosis prescribing what I needed. Dr. Baxter and her team had me out in a very short time.

Worst experience In a urgent care I’ve ever had, brought my 3 month old baby in for concern on tummy issues and his eye was leaking yellow discharge, made a appointment and when I got there I waited an hour and a half inside the waiting room when I finally got in the back I waited about 30 minutes and then a NURSE walks in completely disregarded my concerneds for my baby who’s been staying up all night crying in pain, she didn’t have a awnser on the eye she just told me “take him to his pediatrician” mam if I could’ve took him to his pediatrician I wouldn’t be here right now his dr is an hour away since we just moved here. Then she kept talking down to me she made me feel stupid and dramatic. She looked at him for two minutes then sat in the room watched me change him and she said “oh your

This used to be the best urgent care. They would have you in and out in no time. It’s gone horribly down hill since Penny left. We had a spot reserved at 10:30, my husband was not called back until 11:15. All the staff were outside getting their cars detailed and flirting with the car detailer. There was only one other patient being treated. It’s a shame. See picture of cars being detailed while we are still waiting. Dealing with the cars came before patient care.
