Atrium Health Urgent Care

We brought our son in with a 102° fever and were turned away while the office was still open. We were essentially told to take him to the ER. While I understand that there may be limitations on what can be treated, the lack of compassion, explanation, and basic customer care was very disappointing—especially when dealing with a sick child. In situations like this, empathy and clear communication matter just as much as policy. Unfortunately, that was missing here, and it left us feeling dismissed during a very stressful moment.

I had a very good experience. Everyone was friendly, polite and professional. I did not have a long wait time after arriving for my appointment. The facility was clean and I felt safe.

When I arrived there was a very nice woman at the reception area. I was there very early. They took me before my appointment time. Sarah was very kind and got the information from me. Very thorough. Covid may not be very widespread now but We did have people at work with it and I wanted to be tested because of symptoms I was experiencing. The doctor was Dr. Coran. Great group! Thank you

Dr. “Cindy” is fantastic. She has a very mom-like demeanor that’s comforting when you’re not feeling well at all, and she listens and discusses the issues like no doctor I’ve been to before. Extremely knowledgeable and thorough, calm, and speaks to you like a normal person. Empathetic and caring, just what I needed.

As an out of town visitor with a suspected sinus infection, asthma and ear pain, my choices were extremely limited for finding a physician to see me before my flight home. With a recommendation from my local cousin, I found Atrium Health Clinic in Belmont, N.C. Upon hearing my symptoms and situation, the clinic immediately worked me in for a same day appointment and were able to prescribe an antibiotic and an inhaler which was filled by the local CVS within 30 minutes. This level of service is hard to find in today's world, and I received amazing care. My greatest thanks for a job well done!
