My husband had surgery yesterday. Surgeon was amazing however he did not receive anything he was supposed to. Surgical team had no communication and the anesthesiologist lied about a nerve block. My husband was supposed to receive one and never did. Phase II was horrible. The nurse he had had an attitude and acted like she had better things to do. I repeat the surgeon was amazing and was not made aware of any of these things until this evening. Staff was horrible other than 3 nurses and his surgeon. People need communication training and the anesthesiologist needs better training as well. Hope to never have to bring him back here again for another surgery. We'll ask about other places. This one is HORRIBLE.

I was referred to your emergency department by another physician due to a sudden and alarming loss of vision in one eye. Upon arrival, I was admitted to the ER and remained there for three full days on a gurney, waiting for an inpatient room to become available. During this time, basic hygiene and comfort needs were not met—there was only one shared restroom for over 20 patients, there were no windows or access to even see outside of the hospital, and despite multiple requests, I was never allowed access to a shower. Over the course of those three days, I received only one meal, which was served in a to-go container and was of extremely poor quality. While I have not yet received the itemized bill, I want to be absolutely clear: I intend to dispute any charges that do not accurately refle

We had such a good experience with the whole team at Mercy to make my mom’s stay comfortable, safe, and reassuring. We truly felt supported every step of the way. Dr. Makhuli is an exceptional physician. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure my mom received the best possible care.

9/9 update - STILL CAN’T TALK TO MY MOM DAILY. OVER A MONTH AND THEY HAVE NOT REPLACED THE NON WORKING PHONE IN HER ROOM AND REFUSE TO PUT HER IN ANOTHER ROOM. MY MOM IS A DEMENTIA PATIENT. PRETTY SOON SHE WON’T REMEMBER WHO I AM AND THEY ARE PREVENTING ME FROM TALKING TO HER DAILY! SEE BELOW FOR NEW PICTURE OF MY MOM’S FRIEND TRYING TO GET IN CONTACT WITH HER AND SHE CANT 8/29 - still no working phone in my mom’s room. They refuse to transfer her to a room with a working phone or put a working phone in the room. Reign/Rain on 7th floor attitude is despicable! Not welcoming or helpful compared to other nurses at the nurses station. I pray for the day my mom leaves this hospital and placed in a memory care facility. Update : Since they had my review removed. And still another day without

This building should be condemned. It's so disgusting, there is zero room for patients. My husband was admitted to the hospital on Monday, it's currently Wednesday and he is still in the ER/ADTU waiting on a bed. No one has talked to us about getting a room other than being told over and over that he is a high priority for a room. I find it hard to believe there have been zero discharges for 3 days. It's absolutely disgusting - he can't even take a shower and he has to share a bathroom with the Triage and ADTU which is a minimum of 20 other patients! Also where he is staying in ADTU, his bed is a gurney. So it is smaller/thinner than the typical hospital bed, and can't be adjusted with a remote so he needs to ask staff to adjust his bed when he wants to sit up or lay down. He's expected to
