I’ve been blocked from being seen at this location because I no called/no showed which is not the full case. My phone completely broke 4 days before my appointment. With no reminders, calls, and notifications I forgot & probably wouldn’t have made it with no phone. I got my new phone today and am trying to reschedule everything that I unfortunately missed. I called and even when trying to explain the situation I was still denied and told I’d no longer be able to be seen at this location or by its providers. I don’t want to use the “I’m an Atlantic health employee” card but I will because it’s not right and even my location wouldn’t deny someone services in this way. As this would’ve been my first appt I think it’s unfair how I’ve been treated. I’m leaving this here in hopes that this doesn
I called regarding a CPAP mask change for my mother and was translating for her. While I was calmly asking for clarification on a few questions, the woman who answered the phone became unprofessional and began raising her voice. At no point was I rude or confrontational — I was simply trying to understand the process so I could help my mother. This type of behavior is unacceptable, especially in a medical setting where patients and family members are already under stress. The lack of professionalism and basic courtesy made the experience very unpleasant. I hope management reviews call handling and staff training.
The doctor is wonderful but the office staff is horrendous. They are unprofessional and rude. Information is missing in my daughter's chart and they blame her. She can't get answers, can't get her meds refilled, can't be seen in a timely manner, and is given incorrect information by the staff. This is the worst doctor's office we have ever encountered and I can't believe these people chose to work in medicine and try to help patients get better because they literally do the opposite. My daughter is going to change doctor's because she can't deal with the unprofessionalism and incompetence any more.
Terrible…. Took them months to get my a cpap machine after being diagnosed with sleep apnea. They kept blaming insurance when I called insurance then had never put in the claim or anything. Next my cpap machine breaks 18 months later and is out of warranty. So I call for my prescription and they refused to give it to me unless I take another sleep study. I explained I’m not in the state anymore and in between insurance. They told me too bad. When I die in my sleep I hope you your money comforts you.
I had an appointment in the cedar knolls office and was traveling on long way 2 hours to be exact...I was running late and tried calling the office to let them know...the weather was very rainy. I could not get through and had multiple answering service people trying to contact the office...when I finally arrived I was not seen and the receptionist was so rude and not helpful. She just wanted to leave and it was communicated...very unprofessional and uncaring attitude...I will not be going back...plus I was quite disappointed in the dr. for not seeing me...he was there and I was there but no...very sad and discouraging...I did get my prescriptions filled...one consolation of the whole trip.
