Atlantic Brain and Spine

I have sever back pain that I really need help with. I have seen a pain interventionist who has done all that she can do and she suggested that I consult with a neurosurgeon. Based on the reputation of this practice I made an appointment. I saw a PA who seemed very attentive and kin. She reviewed my imaging results from a previous MRI that was not the greatest quality. There was pathology but not clear that it was a disc. She thought maybe she saw something in the imaging that could explain my pain and told me she would present my history and imaging to the spine surgery board then get back to me. I never heard back. I called and asked the call center if she could contact me, as I hoped to get advice about what to do and maybe further testing. The person I reached said "these are surgeons.

From the initial call to schedule an appointment, I was treated with such professionalism and respect. The visit was excellent. Dr. Benitez was amazing. He explained everything with grace and empathy. His demeanor was that of a caring physician with patience and integrity.

Juliana Schwartz was very personable. She was knowledgeable about my condition when we met with her and was thorough when explaining everything. She took the time to answer any questions I had.
