Astra Vein Treatment Center

It’s astonishing to me that I received a request for a review within 24 hours of my procedure — but here it is. I underwent a uterine fibroid embolization to reduce a pedunculated fibroid as well as several smaller fibroids. I was informed that I would be sedated; however, I was not adequately sedated and felt much of the procedure. I expressed this to both Dr. Bolotin and his assistant, but my concerns did not seem to be acknowledged. During the procedure, while Dr. Bolotin was inserting the needle into my arm, I felt what seemed like blood gushing out. He stated that it was saline, but when I looked, it appeared to be my blood. I would have appreciated greater transparency and reassurance in that moment. I also felt that Dr. Bolotin was somewhat aggressive while inserting the needle a
