While the initial veterinarians were excellent and their prescribed antibiotics helped stabilize him for surgery, they were not equipped to perform the necessary procedure to remove his gallbladder and were concerned about potential renal cancer. I contacted Astoria Animal hospital and spoke with Melany, who was exceptionally kind and arranged for us to come in immediately. Dr. Haasan performed the surgery that same day. It was my first time using Astoria Animal Hospital and when I walked in, I was greeted by the manager at the front desk (pictured) she was very nice. I just needed updated vaccines for my dog and the process took no more than an hour. Staff were great and the process was hassle free.

Dr. Hassan and his staff are amazing and so accommodating!! I called for a last minute check up for my sick bunny and was able to be seen the day of. The staff was kind and professional — you can really tell they care about your pet’s health. Dr. Hassan was very knowledgable and answered all my questions clearly with a lot of information. After the visit, my bunny feels as good as new all thanks to this establishment and the amazing veterinarian. I always know my rabbit is in good hands when I visit. They treat your animal with the utmost care. ❤️

I’ve been going to this veterinary office since they first opened their location, and I’ve trusted them with all of my pets—past and present. The staff is incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. They’ve supported my pets through multiple surgeries and always took the time to make sure I felt informed and reassured. I can’t thank this veterinary team enough. They were able to see my cat, Minou, on very short notice when he was suddenly sick, and they treated us with so much kindness and compassion. The staff was gentle, patient, and thorough with his care, and the doctor took the time to explain everything in detail. The ladies in the front were super nice and very sweet. Big shoutout to them. On top of that, they helped with discounts, which meant a lot during a stressful time. My cat is already doing much better thanks to their treatment and guidance. I am so grateful for their professionalism, bedside manner, and genuine concern. Highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a vet who will treat your pet like family.
