We were referred here for a bone marrow biopsy from a different clinic. After completing the biopsy, we finally had an answer to the cause and I was relieved to know there was a treatment plan moving forward. I was under the impression that this “specialty doctor” had additional information about medications/etc for my dogs condition. Instead, a very similar medication line up was recommended, one that we had already been trialing for a month with our primary vet with no success. I tried calling multiple times to discuss options and relay my hesitancy with the current treatment plan, but instead I was shut down and told that things take time. Our appointment was moved back after my dog was hospitalized, and there was still no communication. My primary vet called to try and clarify as she h

This review is for their dental practice. Dr. Ulbricht was recommended to me by my cat's primary vet after a stomatitis diagnosis. Everyone I interacted with there was kind and informative. Dr. Ulbricht was very thorough in doing pre-surgery testing, which gave me a lot of confidence about Cicero's procedure. I was quite anxious on drop-off day, but they were very clear about what was happening and what to expect, which helped ease my anxiety. His full mouth extraction went well, and they held my kitty overnight for monitoring. I definitely felt like he was getting the best care he could get! Cicero has a couple more post-procedure check-ins with them, but has been doing very well just a few days later. Overall, I would absolutely reccomended their dental practice to anyone. I felt like th

First of All the FMT procedure work but that’s the only thing that was positive! The first FMT there was a blonde Nurse that stated after her procedure stated that they gave my cat sedation and did a NG FMT with my cat and did a quick reversal to get my cat awake and of course charged a lot for it..the whole procedure!!! I didn’t say anything because for a cat with hip dysplasia it’s better to have her sedated then to hold her down for a procedure with her condition … The second procedure they kept her till 2 in the afternoon…I figured it’s because of sedation…when I picked her up I found out that she was the only one that had a FMT procedure for that day and she wasn’t sedated and also another Nurse this time (gave me very little information as well )stated to that they only do enemas (I

I can't express how happy we are with how they treated our dog, Copper. Our general Vet recommended them to us when he came down with a serious case of pneumonia. After the first round of antibiotics from our vet didn't work, he was very weak, wouldn't eat, and we were terrified he wouldn't make it through the next day. Copper had to be placed on oxygen and was at AVS without us for 7 days, and had to be transferred to an animal hospital during the weekend then returned here Monday. Now Copper is back home with us, still on oxygen, but getting better every day. AVS took every phone call, let us go back and visit him in the ICU every day he was there and answered every 100 questions and concerns we had. I would just like to thank Dr Lloyd, the other vets, nurses and techs that worked

My cat came in the house with a wound on her neck. I was worried about my Kitty so I took her to AVS. It took a while to be seen. This is an Emergency Veterinarian Service so they take the sickest animals first, I saw a lot of them while I waited, it made me so grateful that they're not far from where I live. They take excellent care of the animals.
